MyFirstMicroscope.org is a free, open-source platform dedicated to making microscopy education accessible, engaging, and fun — especially for young learners. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to explore the invisible world around them.

🔬 Why Microscopy?

Microscopes are some of the most powerful tools in science. They've helped us discover bacteria, understand cell biology, develop life-saving medicines, and create nanotechnology. Yet microscopy education often doesn't start until college.

We want to change that. By introducing microscopy concepts early — through play, crafts, songs, and games — we can spark curiosity and inspire the next generation of scientists.
